Cardiac Care Campaign


Ross Fisher accepts a $500 donation from Jean Bryski, President, and Dorothy Skene of the SaskTel Pioneers for the Cardiac Care Campaign.


Tony Hladyboroda and Orville Drobot (centre and right) presented $15,000 to The Health Foundation for heart monitoring and diagnostic equipment in December, to start the Cardiac Care Campaign.

Murray Williams and Don Beaton of the Parkland Shrine Club presented The Health Foundation with a cheque for $541.20 on April 3, which covers the cost of three television sets being purchased for the pediatric departments in Yorkton and Kamsack. "For over 50 years, the Parkland Shrine Club has supported many activities in Yorkton and in our surrounding communities,” said Mr. Beaton, President of the Parkland Shrine Club, "and this donation continues that tradition of service."


SecurTek Pioneers donated $8,500 to The Health Foundation on Feb. 27, toward the purchase of two sets of bili lights, used for phototherapy treatment of new born infants. "This is a tremendously gratifying day for SecurTek and the Pioneers; we have been holding events and raising money for nearly a year for this project, and it great to have reached our goal," said Kristy Cmoc, front right, Co-President of the SecurTek Pioneers. "These phototherapy lights will mean there is new and better treatment available, right here in our community, for babies with jaundice or other health issues", continued Vicki Mack, front left, Co-President.
